Hello my name is Eleni Sgontzou If I understand correct you need to use the indesign file like a template and update the elements only from the database, but I need more information to build a solution that fit exactly to your needs. Example: A text that was 100 words to update to a text that contain 300, that means that needs more space and it ll change the layout etc. if you need only to change some small details and no the layout it will be more simple etc. It Is necessary to give me more information about the "scenario" of this project to tell you exactly a) the steps of the scripts, b) the time and the final price of this project depends on the complexity of "the project scenario" and automation that you choose to use In general this project scripts-steps are: EXPORT DATA Step 1. connect all the elements of the catalogue (make them tags) Step 2. collect (copy to specific place) the images that are associated with the indesign file Step 3. export information from indesign file to an xml file (if you need we can store more information about each element, like the page or size that take placed in your catalogue etc) IMPORT DATA Step 4.
