I am looking for somebody to develop a script to be run from a cron job to connect to the betfair api to collect betting market data and then apend that into a formatted file so that i can then use data as I wish. Each day there are betwern 5-30 horse races at UK race tracks and the betfair markets on these see a lot of activity within the 0-15 minutes before the race starts. I want an automated script/process to connect to the api and collect market data at key intervals. So for each race the script should grab the odds (both back and lay) for all the horses. The odds should be obtained and saved every 5 mins betwern 120 and 60 mins before the start then every 2 mins between 20 and 60 mins before the start then every 30 secs between 10 and 20 mins before the stsrt then every 1 second between 10 mins before and the actual start. The data retrieved and saved (each row of data) will be the race detail (venue, time etc), thr horse name, back price and market depth for the current back price and 6 prices before it, the lay price and its market depth plus that for 6 prices before that. all of the developer help and tools exist but i dont have the knowledge to put them together, see this site [login to view URL] site.

hello, I've been a betfair trader between 2004 and 2014 and pure horse racing trader/pointer. with api VI I already wrote something similar , but with api ng not yet becouse betfair has closed all the italian customers account on april 2014. I have a question: have you already access to the betfair api? have you created your self signed cert? kind regards, Fabio
