Custom XML Parser in PHP

I need some custom, easy to use PHP code that will parse XML files held on another site so that they can be displayed on my web site in an easily readable and flexible manner. I have access to the other site by agreement and the simple document tree structure can be supplied. This should be fairly straightforward for anyone with PHP and XML experience, particularly if they have developed an RSS parser using PHP before.
