Bug fixing & Website Modification

Hello I need help to fix few bugs and add/modify some functions for a software index directory website. Bug Fixing 1- Whenever someone submit a software, the software description seem to include the symbol “/” also I noticed that this happens whenever someone uses the hyphen “ or apostrophe ‘ in their description. 2- Date doesn’t update when I click to update it from site admin panel & I always need to do this manually by going to mysql database. 3- Pad Crawler– this is a spider that retrieves software information from software author websites and updates the database with new information if any– for some reason this have stopped functioning When a member submits software he/she uses a PAD file, PAD (Portable Application Format) this basically an xml file from a URL, URL usually looks similar to [login to view URL] The PAD File contains information such as, file name, file description, version number, download link ...etc There is too much information on this at the URL below about the PAD technology and how it works: [login to view URL] And [login to view URL] Software authors submit to my software index website using the PAD technology Modification 1- Add the Field “Author Notes” in the software admin section to the page – to retrieve information from the database under “Author Notes” and show it on the main admin software page 2- Add another 2 extra licenses to the Mysql database table and to software submission form the 2 extra license types are below: - Trailware - Demo 3- In the software submission form I have some software authors completely ignore the rules and they don’t specify a download URL which link directly to their file, instead they tend to put a link to their website – I want the submission form to warn about that error and force the rule so that they have a link URL to a file. 4- Ability to ban some user names and IP addresses from becoming members 5- In the admin panel – the Ability to display the software by member name Most members have more than one software submission but at the current stage I am not able to display all the software submissions generated from one author/member - I need something to sort this out. 6- Also in the admin panel – the Ability to retrieve the file information from the PAD This should be done based on the system that is already implemented on the website so for this the content of the existing files can be copied on 7- Add a small section on the admin area that allow me to retrieve all new submissions and choose with a checkbox if the software to be included in the Newsletter or no – the newsletter should be in html and I can import a list of email addresses to send and email to. 8- The website can auto approve submissions based on a set of conditions and rules that is currently present–I want to extend and modify this function for the edited software that is submitted for (re-approval) so that another set of conditions I will specify for re-approval and auto-approval will apply when someone edit their submission this all rules are based on a buy now url link that the user should create and this will complete the automation of the website.
