Computer consulting biz needs to track hours for multiple employees. Need a worksheet style main entry page to just plug in values recorded daily in a notebook and get numbers crunched for easier invoice generation...
Authenticated access, web-based computer consulting billing system in .asp/ms sql. Will calculate hours worked in decimal for multiple clients with multiple billable departments for each client. (clients want different depts billed for different services rendered. will also have overtime rate as a billable department for each). Will select date from monthly calendar, then select client. Will enter time in multiple intervals (2:35-4:20 & 6:30-7:25) and totals (10 mins). Will have ability to add multiple totals in positive & negative. Will have description and assignment to client's department to bill to for everything. i.e. add 5 mins for phone support. subtract 25 mins for lunch break. after entering all data, hit compute to get a decimal number total for each dept and total for all departments for the day.

multiple employees will be assigned to these hours/rates/descriptions/clients & clients' departments such that each can enter time and total for all employees work will be calculated
these totals can be combined with dates within a specified range. a report of all compiled data will be generated for the range. A sample of report format is attached.
## Deliverables
Primary:
1) Authenticated access to application.
2) Secure code & secure application. No use of existing code with known vulnerabilities.
3) Configuration of server to make secure.
4) Hours entry interface by choosing date from monthly calendar and client name.
5) Reporting interface, preferably in Excel with ability to query specific date or range. Ability to see hours for permutations of: individual clients, all clients, combos of clients based on all employees, one employee or combos of employees. Use attached spreadsheet ([url removed, login to view]) as starting point.
6) ability to add the following functionality in futre: user management; multiple user log-in to report individual employee hours, admin has override and full control. individuals can only enter & edit their own hours; invoice generation; invoice payment tracking; employee profitability tracking
7) fully functioning with no errors, bugs, etc.
8) I want an honest, reasonable and fair coder to do this who will be available on phone as well as email. Must speak English flawlessly.
Additional:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
