When bidding, please include samples of your web page design work.
I require a new template for an existing personal web site. Please see the attachment--that is the source code for a typical page. **You will not be responsible for creating, editing, or handling any of the specific content for any given pages--you are just creating a skeleton for all pages to follow.** Hence, you need only create the following elements:
* **[login to view URL]** - Stylesheet for all pages. On bid acceptance, I will provide the existing stylesheet for a starting point.
* **[login to view URL]** - This is included at the top of every page and will be the "header" for each page -- on my current page I use div elements separate the header and body in a very simple way. You will be expected to come up with a new professional layout.
* **[login to view URL]** - This is included at the bottom of every page and can be used to clean up any dangling div elements, and display a consistent footer and copyright at the bottom of each page.
That's it! I have already provided you with the page source template--extremely simple. I will also provide the following:
* All of the above files, for a starting point.
* My web site URL, of course
* A logo I would like you to integrate
* More information about the purpose and goals of the site--so you can create an appropriate design
* Some very rough creative preferences and suggestions
## Deliverables
New versions of the following files:
* [login to view URL]
* [login to view URL] - This can use PHP or be static HTML with .php extension -- Your choice
* [login to view URL] - PHP or static HTML with .php extension
* Original source of all images created (i.e., PSD, Illustrator, etc., with all layers)
* Published versions of images, buttons, etc.
Additional requirements (please read carefully!):
* The existing menu is just plain text. I would like some glossy mouseover buttons, designed by you. I should be able to edit source to create additional buttons. I.e., no image editing required to modify button text.
* Each page has a **div id=header Page Title /div** block, where "Page Title" is inserted into the top banner of the page.
* You will need to come up with all graphics, visuals, etc., except for the logo, which I will provide.
**Revision policy** - I wish to keep revisions to a minimum. However, a few revisions are often required to resolve creative tastes come to the best result. As such, I would like to have at least 3 substantially different concepts produced, at least 1 week before the deadline. If none of the concepts are suitable, I will give you additional direction and request another set. After that, I will choose the closest concept, possibly with additional feedback, and ask you to produce a working copy. After seeing the working copy, I may request 1-2 revisions of that until a good result is achieved and I can accept your work. **Once again, I wish to keep revisions to a minimum; if you have above average talent in this domain, fewer revisions will be required.**
