Create ADO Plugin for Filemaker 10 3/6/2009 9:00:02 AM

At a minimum I need a Filemaker Plug-in updated from FM4 to the current version.? The software I need to interface with is address standardization software created by Semaphore Corporation called Zip+4.? Someone developed a plug in back in 1998 and updated it in 2001.? I can send that old? [login to view URL] file along with whatever else is required? and provide necessary documentation from the vendor. I was told a more elegant and effective solution could be created using a Visual Basic script, but that probably would involve more work that I may or may not be willing to go for.? I don't know what is involved nor the exact advantages.? Up until Filemaker version 10, I was simply script exporting .dbf files and updating them in the zip4 program and then script importing them back into Filemaker.? ? FM version 10 no longer supports .dbf files. ## Deliverables More explanation will probably be required? plus the delivery of my database template, when you agree to undertake this project.? ? I will ship it directly to you after we have some communication. I've have attached the 4.0 and 5.5 plug in versions from the vendor along with a descritpion of how it works.
