Code a module to import data from restaurant software into Quickbooks

We are seeking a coder who can create a module that will retrieve data from a restaurant point of sale database program and import that data into Quickbooks, the accounting program.

This restaurant database collects the following type of information:

* Quantity and type of inventory delivered (for example, chicken breasts, tomatoes, white sugar, plastic spoons)

* Date of delivery

* Price of inventory delivered

* Shipping charges

* Taxes

* Invoice total

This software also allows you to track inventory usage according to recipes for the food you serve. For example, you would input a recipe for a hamburger into the program, and the program would deduct from inventory a certain amount of ground beef, spices, a hamburger bun, lettuce, etc.

This program? does have the capacity to export certain data in the ASCII Delimited file format (.CSV). This file can then be imported into a spreadshseet or an accounting software such as Quickbooks.

HOWEVER, it only allows you to export the data for a specific recipe, NOT for all the inventory purchased on a specific date.

We want to be able to extract the data for invoices in a specified date period so that it can be imported into Quickbooks and double-entry can be avoided.

In the future, we will likely want to use this type of module on other database programs in the restaurant industry, so we are looking for a programmer who can work in multiple database environments.
