Cascading menus for file sys navigation

We would like to create a Windows utility that makes it easier for users to locate and open documents. Rather than open the traditional File Explorer window (which necessitates many mouse clicks), users will be able to seek out a file using a cascading menu. It will be similar to the way the Start Menu "Programs" works. During setup, this utility will add a menuitem to the list of menuitems typically shown for any folder when it is right-clicked. Ordinarily Windows folders have Open, Explore, Search and several other menuitems. Once our utility is installed, users will also encounter this menuitem at the top: "Files >" Adding such a menuitem can be accomplished simply by associating a program action to the empty Folder file type. It is also possible to have submenuitems (see for example .zip archives if winzip has been installed). The remaining functionality will be almost exactly like Program navigation from the start menu. Sometimes a folder will have a very large number of files or subfolders. In this case, limit the list to a user set limit (default to 20) and add a final entry called "More >" which will cascade as well. When running, the utility preferences should be accessible via a mini-icon on the task bar. The utility should run every time Windows starts. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete, thoroughly documented source code of all work done, with a final specification write-up (3 to 5 pages). 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP
