CUSTOMER AND VENDOR DATA BASE

We currently have a database that is online and can be access from the internet. It is written in .net language and something else. The program was originally written by a father son team, but the father passed away leaving it to the son. Some of it is written in the new language and some in the old language so it is kinda a mess. We would like someone to be able to look at it and modify the program we have now, or create a new one all together without loosing our customer and vendor history. The program keeps track of inventory by the piece and also by the ton or lbs. Ity also keeps track of all sale and purchase history. We also generate our actual delivery tickets and purchase orders . We have each customer and vendor setup on forms with contact information, personal information and notes also. We can run reports on sales , purchases by dates, sizes, qty, description etc. We cant get in touch with the son who helped write this and when we do he cant help us that much. We are having problems with it going down about once a week and he reboots it to fix it. Can anyone help me out. The original developer agreed to work with someone else and or turn over what he has to help get it fixed or create a new one.

I am talking to the original programmer to get more detailed information so everyone will better understand what we have and what we are looking for. Also so anyone that bids can talked to him to answer any questions you might have. I will get back to everyone shortly. Thanks, Steven Burgess
