Creation of HTML Email Template + Automated Email System

Winglet Media specialise in creating internet based (Flash) interactive training to airline pilots.
We now want to capitalise on the huge database of current users, previous users and interested pilots to send automated emails to market our products more effectively.
The project would include:
- Creation of an HTML email template based on our company branding and website which can the content can be edited to allow us to tailor each email for different tasks. This should also include discussion on a back-up non-HTML email for those users that can't/won't look at HTML emails.
- Instructions on how to send the email so that we are not flagged as junk mail due to the large quantity we will send (up to 1000 emails each time)
- Automated system to send emails to our subscribers (in our database) at specific time intervals throughout their subscription period:
- We already send a welcome email at the start of their subscription but would like this to be HTML as well
- An automated email a few days into their subscription to ensure that they are getting the most from our products
- An automated email at the end of their subscription to remind them to re-subscribe
- An automated email 6 months after their initial start of subscription to remind them to re-subscribe (pilots have a simulator check every 6 months)
- An email once per month to all users, interested parties and previous users to highlight new features, new products etc
