College Basketball "Knockout Pool" Website

Interactive Website: NCAA* College basketball tournament "knockout pool" where users can sign up, fill out their tournament picks per the unique "knockout" rules (detailed below), competing against friends within pools that users establish. Would require an administrative page that would allow for game participants, schedules and results to be uploaded or leveraging an existing API (such as [login to view URL]). Website leaves room for ad revenue. PHP and MySQL are preferred, but am flexible. I can work with customer to provide the graphics; primarily looking for someone who can code the logic for the pool. *Project no affiliated or sponsored by the NCAA. --------------- Survivor Pool Rules: 1) One user creates a pool (group) and serves as the "commissioner". That user can invite individuals to join or can send out a link from which users can join. 2) Each day (or each round -- configurable), before tip off, each participant must submit one winner from that day. (This is also configurable for 2 winners in the opening round, since there are more options.) Selections CAN be submitted ahead of time. 3) A participant can only choose a team once throughout the tournament. Once a participant chooses a team, he/she forfeits their right to use that team ever again. 4) If a participant's pick(s) is correct, they survive until the next day/round. 5) If the participant picks incorrectly and has no more mulligans, he/she loses and is out for the remainder of the tournament. 6) A customizable number of "mulligans" (redos) are allowed. (0-2) 7) The goal is to be the the last member standing at the end of the tournament. 8) If two people are out on the same day, there will be a tiebreaker TBD.
