This project will be a community website with marketplace (buy/sell/posting/ads) function like auction sites. But without the bidding function, so coding should be much easier. The model website to follow will be classified website like [url removed, login to view]
Currently, I would like to incorporate the following function that looks like [url removed, login to view] duplicate:
The additional things is I would like this site to be categorized as
- networks (based on college)
- need college email to signup.
a) Users to Buy and Sell their unused items within their pre-assigned network. The network will be their institution/school/college.
b) This means that only registered/former students with “.edu email” should be within this network, that is to say, their email must end with an edu or else they cannot register.
c) The main purpose of this community will be for people to buy stuff online safely within school network, sell stuff to buyers within school network and also rent rooms/sub-let rooms/apartments to others in the network.
d) Functions also include those like submit job/services.
e) There is therefore 3 styles of postings/ads. (one for stuff to sell, one for rental and one for posting of jobs/services) all within a network but managed in one community system.
