Build a Social Networking Website
We are looking to hire an IT Firm that can build a customized social networking website WITHIN 45 days. This will be phase one of this website. After this project, if the experience is great, second phase will be to build iOS iPhone app and an Android app for the same along with a longer-term relationship to maintain and upgrade website/apps in future.
The website will have characteristics of currently popular websites like Facebook, Linkedin, etc., but will be customized to cater to social networking on a very specific topic.
Skills Sought:
- Highly creative website design skills
- Top of the line development and QA skills in a highly scalable technology
- Ability to create a responsive website that can be viewed properly on various web interfaces and on mobile phones
- Strong project management skills. We will need REGULAR status updates.
- Strong ethical standards and impeccable integrity
- At least 90% completion rate and ~5.0 rating
- Ability to provide references where you developed similarly sized work
We are not looking to waste time online so we request that you NOT BID if you do not meet ANY of the following criteria:
- You need to be a registered company with established infrastructure and competent employees with proper business address and contact info
- You need to demonstrate experience in creating Social Networking Websites and Apps
- You need to be professional Project Managers that keep us informed on things good and bad on a REGULAR BASIS
- Should have top design/development/QA talent
- Should have impeccable integrity
- You need to have extremely strong overall rating on freelancer.com
- You are willing to promptly sign a Development Agreement before ANY payment is made. Please note that the Development Agreement will be executed to the fullest extent if the terms are violated
- You are willing to accept a penalty (to be deducted from final payment) for late delivery
Please note that the payment will be made in 4 milestones:
10% upon acceptance
20% after design finalization
20% after website completion meeting the aforementioned feature list
30% upon website development completion & deployment after thorough QA testing
20% - 1 week after completion of all requirements above to allow for room for testing and fixing of bugs
Need a commitment of at least 3 months of post deployment support and ability to provide extended support for a fee
Final list of features sought in a fully operational website are:
- Responsive website
- Ability to register
- Ability to login using Facebook credentials and capture Facebook user profile info
- Ability to update User Profile including addition of profile photo
- Ability to add friends
- Ability to create albums and upload photos, videos and other documents
- Ability to post “Status Updates” (to be called “Status” in this document)
- Ability to share Status’s on other websites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
- Ability to post “Status” anonymously so that people cannot link the “Status” to the author
- Ability to attach photo/video/document to the “Status”
- Ability to comment on all “Status”
- Ability to comment on all “Status” anonymously
- Ability to hide specific comments or hide all comments from specific users
- Ability to message “Friends”
- Ability to view Status’s of all Friends
- Ability to view a section that exclusively shows anonymously posted Status’s
- Ability to view “Trending” Status’s (most popular status updates)
- Ability to search Status Updates and User Profiles of all website members
- Ability to view list of Friends
- Ability to view recommendations for friendships
- Ability to invite friends from Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc or using email address
- Ability to view Notifications that show “Friendship Requests”, Notice of comment posted on Status’s posted by me (logged in user)
- Ability to change personal settings like changing Profile data, changing password or suspend account, etc.
