VB6 + ADO 2.5SP1 Project. Source code must be well commented!!! Steps: 1. Select a MS Access 97 or MS Access 2000 database via a DSN as the FROM DSN and a Sybase or MS SQL Server database DSN as the TO DSN. Must also work with OLEDB connections. Would be great if program read connection info from an INI file or a separate MS Access database. 2. Fill one checked list with tables and another checked list with queries from the FROM DSN. 3. Selecting a table will generate an SQL string for creating the equivalent of that table structure in Sybase or MS SQL Server. Must map field types! 4. Selecting a query will generate an SQL string for creating an equivalent View or Stored Procedure (user selectable) in Sybase or MS SQL Server. 5. Selecting either a table or a query will advise if an object with the same name already exists in the TO database. 6. User Options (actions on the TO database): a. Execute SQL to kill the mirror of the selected object from the TO database. b. Execute SQL to create a mirror of the selected object in the TO database with attributes that match the FROM database (field types must be properly maped) c. Copy data from the FROM database to the TO database (must support all fields types including BLOBs) 7. Give an option to select multiple tables and/or queries and perform any of the User Options (#6) on all of them with one command. 8. Allow executing manually entered SQL on the To database. Return errors if they occur. 9. Keep a detailed log of all actions in a separate text file. I will provide a sample starter application to the winning bidder. I will be happy to answer any additional questions. Thanks.
## Deliverables
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Platform
NT 4.0/2000/XP Pro
## Deadline information
I will want to see a small sample of your existing code with comments to make sure that you know how to properly comment your code. This is important because I may not need to revisit this project for a year.
