I would like to access one of my own computers at remote locations without a server that computer is connected to being able to detect that Im using RDP or a commercial program. The only thing Ive read that would do this and defeat programs that routinely look for processes is a DKOM rootkit to hide, for example, logmein (or whatever its process name is). I don't care if it can be detected by a user physically on that computer (ie Im not trying to access someone else's computer and hide it, it really is my own!), just not by another remote server. It can be physically installed on the computer, it doesn't need to be installed remotely/discretely...again, Im not trying to hide it from the computer owner, its my computer! If different Windows systems would need a different program I would need one for Vista through 8.
