Calculate distance between multiple geographic coordinates

I have two large arrays including longitude latitude coordinates. I need a script to take the two files and calculate the distance between each combination and produce a list of those that are within one statute mile of one another.

I believe there are scripts already in existence which do this (just Google it), but I am not techno enough to even understand the descriptions and need a gui to make it dummy proof. My two arrays are kept in excel files.

i am attaching two files with samples. i want easy implementation my me a non programmer to produce results of point from one file rentals that are within one mile of points in the other schools. and the what those distances are. ideally the GUI interface will make it simple for me to change the distance to two miles and subsiture different files if i wish.

sample files uploaded. acutual files contain 3k and 6k entries of which those within one mile will most likely be 5 or less per entry in the 3k file. it is actully the the 3k file that will be compared to the 6k file and not the inverse.
