I have a chat / cms program that is open source / freeware. Basically I would like a few changes made to it, and after struggling with it for 3 months I've given up. You can see the script in action here: [url removed, login to view] A login is UN: Eramus PW: Insubordination. Sign in, then go to Who's On. Click the enter button beneath the Otherworlds room name. Select any character from the drop down menu. Once you're in the room if you move your mouse over that character name, you'll see a small box pop up with info about that character. What I would like to have changed is rather than a pop up window on mouseover, I'd like to have it open up instead in a 'frame' at the right that can be opened and closed by clicking on the character name. That is the first thing.
Secondly, in that room you'll see a moon icon. Next to that should be a weather icon and the weather was supplied by google api which has since been shut down. I'd like to have that fixed to use another weather source other than the now defunct google api.
Third, this software has character submission, journal, messaging and influence functions. These are things 'members' submit for 'moderators' to review. Right now there is no 'alert' function for any of this, meaning it's really hit or miss knowing if something has been submitted. What I'd like to have instituted is an alert of some sort. A noise when a moderator logs in with a symbol of some sort (a pop-up, a banner -- something) or an alert sent to their e-mail. Some sort of notification that a moderator has something that requires their attention.
Lastly, and this isn't a huge thing but is something I'm interested in pricing, I would like to integrate the login details of this software with a forum software like phpbb or mybb. I don't want to use the forum login, I want to use this software -- the jove software -- to login. But if there were one login for both things (forum and jove) that would be beneficial.
I'd like to have it done before the last week in April or the first week of May at the latest. The sooner the better, but May is when I really need it by.
Also, I have all of the source files in a zip.
