I need an api written that will pull hashtags from twitter and instagram according to the date they were used. for example, if i want to pull hashtags for #ilovehiphop, during the dates of october 1, 2014 to october 15, 2014, the app requires the user to login using their social media accounts for access. The software should return the exact number of people who used the hashtag during that period, their username and profile info. That's it. I need this written so that it can be inserted into an existing app. The original dev could not figure out how to make this work.

Twitter allows to set "until" date and Instagram doesn't have even this option. However they return information about when the status or media was posted, so I can do this manually. One more thing, they both return limited number of objects, so they might return only objects that newer than your date range - in this case manual filtering will filter results to nothing.
