Design My Online Resume

Hi, I am currently creating my online resume site [login to view URL] which will have Wordpress as its CMS. I have the following: * The copy written * The theme colour and design that I would like to use. * The audio and images that will accompany my testimonials. All I need is someone who will take all these elements and quickly put them together into a Wordpress site which I can easily manipulate later on. Please quote "wildort"to be considered. Please note, the content currently on the site is placeholder content and will be replaced by the content attached in the detailed description. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks ## Deliverables [login to view URL] is going to be on a Wordpress blog. HOMEPAGE The homepage will be the sales page index.html. However we shall include the header and banner to the sales page. The design of the page will be the same as the theme, the only difference being that there will be no sidebar and instead the content area will expand to take up more space on the page. The content will be [login to view URL] word for word. Every hyperlink will link to the same page ( i.e. the contact page) which I shall describe in more detail below. THE HEADER The header will consist of the following: 1) Two links at the very top running horizontally: i) Start Here ii) Case Studies 2) My picture as it currently is on the header followed by the words "Hire Mwangi 3) My contact details in a manner similar to this website: [login to view URL] i.e. my contact details will be on the right side of the banner. The contact details I want displayed are: * Skype username: masmilele * Googletalk username: masmilele * Email: mwangi(at)hiremwangi(dot)com * A tiny chat button linked to my own tiny chat room : [login to view URL] NB: The difference is I want my contact details to be fixed and scroll vertically on the page ( I am open to your idea on how to display my contact details, but they must all be prominent and above the fold). THE CONTENT AREA The written words should remain exactly as they are on the index.html. The background colour of the page should be that of the theme that is currently on the page. The HTML text is for the sake of instructions and should be removed once acted on e.g. table border and Scan signature in THIS COLOR BLUE and bolded #0000FF): act on them then remove them. THE HYPERLINKS WILL LEAD TO A CONTACT PAGE The anchor text will link to a page we will create called [login to view URL] Here we shall have: 1) The following text: "Congratulations on taking the next step towards fully leveraging the web for maximum output to you and your organization. So that I can be better prepared for our complementary 1 hour consultation please tell me a bit more about yourself ( Please note, as a result of demand and compatibility issues, I won't be able to give everyone who fills in the form below a complementary consultation)" There will then be a contact form ( feel free to use a plugin) right below this. Please also quote "philod"to be considered. 2) The contact form: The contact form will have the following areas that must be filled: 1) Full name 2) Email address 3) Telephone number 4) Your Company 5) Please tell your pressing need or problem in as much detail as possible ( So as to make it easy to read, please make use of paragraphs, lists and other such tools as much as possible, thanks :) ) 6) What is your budget i.e. how much money are you willing to spend to get rid of this problem? 7) How much time can you dedicate a week to solving this problem or completing the needed task? 8) Do you have a deadline for the task in question? 9) What solutions have you tried in the past? What were the results? 10) How did you hear about the site? 11) Any final comments? Make the text on the contact page easily manipulatable from within the WP admin area ( A simple plugin would probably be best). The contact form will link to the email: mwangi@[login to view URL] CASE STUDIES PAGE At the top of the header there will be a second link "Case Studies and Testimonials" which will link to the page "Case studies" Here I have a number of audio files to embed together with images: * Yaro Starak testimonial (make sure this one is at the very top) * Matt Lawler testimonial * Ambrose Wong testimonial * Rosie Brown testimonial ( make sure this one is at the very bottom) For each of them I shall give you an image to put right where the empty thumbnails are. Make the area with the text: Client Name: Summary project description easy to manipulate from WP admin as I will add the content there later. All hyperlinks on this page will link to the contact page. TECHNICAL STUFF Make sure you comply with the WC3 Standards for XHTML and CSS if need be. Make sure you optimise websites for maximum Browser Compatibility (IE6/7/8, FF2/3, Chrome etc etc) Ensure that your PHP connections are opened and closed correctly. Follow SEO principles to ensure that Search Indexing and Page Rankings are not impacted negatively. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
