I have a Perl script that searches a flat file database and I'm tryig to hack this script to make a couple modifications to make it write/imcrement up a number like a counter on that record to a field called "Counter" in the database. Also added a file lock.
All I know is that the Counter field for each record needs to start with a "0" and the record needs invoked like this for the counter to work: [login to view URL] There is a second file called [login to view URL] that needs to be in the root directory I think unless a better way.
Here is my test url: <[login to view URL]>
All I get when I try to run the script is a blank screen with blank source code like the template file could not be executed. Please let me know if this is even possible. Most all the work is done however a couple tweaks on my mistakes should get it.
Thanks,
Aaron
