Business Scenario Engine

We are a small management consulting firm that wishes to build a web-based tool to assist our clients with practicing of our behavioral models. We are looking for a highly-skilled programmer with Ruby on Rails and strong database (MySQL) experience to work with us on the development of this simple tool. The tool, at a high-level, simply presents users with a series of questions with multiple choices (radio buttons). Each answer then takes the user to another question with its answers, and so on ... Although the answers and "path" through the scenarios are database driven, the users' answers do not need to be saved to the database. Job Overview: Work with a high degree of autonomy to design and implement a flexible application using RoR and MySQL. Some PHP experience is required (to understand interface existing user authorization system). Experience with Subversion is also required. Quality/Experience of applicant will factor more significantly than price. Please, no recruiters. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux, Apache Server, Ruby on Rails, MySQL v3.23
