We currenty have an in house Asterix Flash PBX system. We require it to be modified so that the incoming calls ring 3 times and then gets disconnected. During the 3 rings the number that has been called has been logged along with the time and date stamp so that the data can be used in our T&A Application. This solution will ultimately eliminate any call charges for our users and us as the calls are not physically connecting to a person or auto answering service.

I've written lots of configs for Asterisk to do missed call, call generation, call testing, and wholesale switching. I can get the Asterisk to either call out for a selected number of seconds / rings, or disconnect incoming calls after a number of seconds / rings. It should be a straight forward project based on my previous experience. I have my own online Asterisk boxes that we can test configs on so as not to interfere with your live systems.
