I am running Trixbox 1.1 with 48 analog extensions and 8 PSTN lines.

Among the 48 extensions, my boss decided to regroup some extensions can make only extensions calls, some local call, some handphone / cell calls + outstation calls + IDD calls.

Group/extensions that is capable of making handphone / cell calls + outstation calls + IDD calls will not need to be pin authenticated. ie. just pick up the phone and dial.

groups / extensions that is only capable of extensions calls will need to be PIN authenticated using the freepbx PIN authentication features when they dial out. ie when calling outstation calls.

the other one, my boss has a direct line plug into the FXOs. he wants every time he pick up his extension and dial ONLY that particular zap channel pick up and dial.

In short, he is on Zap 48 and everytime he wants to dial. only Zap 8 will dial out. and of course, is already configured in Freepbx that calls come in Zap 8 will go to Zap 48.

Because he is still deciding which extensions is to be regroup. I need you to have written instructions to me on how to do this.

thank You
