change image and map marker based on time

Ok, imagine a business directory set up in the sobi2 extension of joomla. What i'd like to do is have an image change based on the time values entered into a form field. The time values would be entered from a drop-down box when the client sets up their page. In details view, when it gets to the time specified in the form field, an image on the page will change. The change in time would also change the google map marker at the same time. See example below for a better understanding:

1. Client creates profile via form in sobi 2

2. In the opening hours field for Monday they select 9am in a drop down box and then 5pm in another drop down box. They continue to enter all of the opening hours for the week. They hit submit to list their business.

3. In the details view of sobi 2 there is an image and a map marker that would change depending on whether or not the business is open or closed.

First of all, does anyone understand what i mean here? And second, can this be done!? I am new to this and wouldn't know the first thing about creating a script so i'm looking for someone to create this script for me. by the way, i've selected simple because i don't have much of a budget but if someone can perfect this then i'd look at increasing the payment.
