I have a java program that I am stuck on. Basically, I have a servlet called ImageServlet that has a doGet method that needs to connect to a UNC path using the jcifs api and load an image given the path. Then, I need to be able to display the loaded jpg image by calling it from a jsp page.
I think I am connecting to the UNC location correctly because when I purposely enter a path that I know doesn't exist I get a file not found error. Yet, when I include a path that does exist I do not get any errors at all.
So, with this said my problem seems to lie on how to display the image once it's loaded by calling the servlet from a jsp page.
The reason why I am using a jsp page to call the servlet is because in the long run I have other information that is within the jsp page and I don't want to redo the structure. This is a preexisting project that I wrote months ago and recently I was tasked to add the image feature to it.
