Codeigniter site, Email client part

Hello, we have a website on CodeIgniter and we need to add a part with Email. Since you'll be working on the already developed website you will have the user registration and login, the friend system and the template ready so you will just have to code your part.

What we need is a system that will create email accounts for our users, will serve as the internal messaging system of our site and will allow our users to connect other email accounts they have and receive their email here. The view of emails will be like Twitter's feed and allow free or premium email accounts. Of course there has to be filtering of the emails and search option so users can browse easily inside them.

For more information we'll discuss when selecting. Since the whole template and site is ready you will just have to code your part so we think the budget is more than enough. Time is very important so it will be a factor in the choice.
