CD-Rom Interface Development for PC/MAC to update old version

We require a CD-Rom to be developed to replace an existing CD-Rom that uses old technology. The current CD-Rom is an interface that allows the user to open, print and save a word document converted into an SWF using Flashpaper 2 and FSCommands. The Flash file was published and converted into an exe using a third party tool. Then tweaked and output as a MAC projector. Both files then burnt onto a CD-Rom set to display the correct files for PC and MAC. We are happy to burn the CD-Rom but would like to develop the PC and MAC version using new technology. Possibly looking into Adobe Air so that only one Interface needs developing that would run on both PC and MAC. Look forward to discussing this further.
