Paid on delivery
On behalf of my client, I need someone to convert the current flash-based web site, authored using SwishMax, to a CMS based web site. Some flash elements may be retained, but things like menus, pages, etc., must be dynamic (rather than hard-coded) in the new site. The current "splash page" of the existing site should be maintained. The current site is at: <[login to view URL]> All source files are available. Just to be clear, the project sequence will go like this: 1. I will deliver to you the SwishMax source files and access to a working setup of the agreed upon CMS system. 2. You will create a site in the CMS that looks as much like the current site as possible, retaining any flash elements that make sense (such as the splash page) in order to do so. 3. After your first pass we will hold a live web meeting to review the site and create a list of any remaining items. We will, of course, stay in communication throughout as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Any current, well-maintained, open-source CMS that runs on Linux will be entertained. Please bid only with CMS applications that you have past experience with and can furnish portfolio references of your work. Here are **some** of the open source CMS systems we will consider, but feel free to suggest others: PHP-Nuke Plone Drupal phpWebSite PostNuke OpenEdit XOOPS Joomla Those represent both LAMP and J2EE stacks. WE WILL NOT CONSIDER \*ANY\* CUSTOM programming AT ALL. The conversion to the site \*\*MUST\*\* be with one of the listed or another CMS package. You NEED NOT HAVE A SWISHMAX LICENSE. I am happy to let you use mine. However, if you want to use this project as an opportunity to purchase a license, please indicated whether you include that in your price.
