acrobat plug-in

Project context An inspection of a ship is done with the help of an A0 scan of the lay-out of a ship. This A0 scan is scanned to PDF and separated into parts with size A4. This scan is the base for an inspection of the ship. All (thickness) measurements are to be processed into the scan. The PDF also will contain comments regarding observations made by the inspector. The inspector will use a tabloid and pen to write down comments on the PDF. The comments are to be translated through handwriting recognition to “typed?? txt. The inspectors are working on board of ships in circumstances that are not optimal. In order to make the processing of data on the PDF as easy as possible we should create an Adobe Acrobat plug-in that provides the functionality needed during these inspection in a “one button?? ready to use way. Most of the functioanlity needed is already present in Acrobat.
