Desktop Locking Software

Hello. This is brief overview of my project. I will be open to any suggestions or comments. I would like a program that can lock the desktop of a PC and limit the controls available to children. I want the program to be able to allow users to specify which programs will be able to run. If the internet is allowed then I want the program to limit the controls of the browser and also limit the destinations of the browser (eg: only allow [[login to view URL]][1][][2] or [[login to view URL]][3], etc). I would like the program to open in full screen and then have the applications allowed on it - therefore not showing the desktop at all. There should be a 'close' option for parents to be able to turn the lock off but this must be password protected. The program should be able to be run as soon as the computer starts so that children can safely use the computer from switch-on. The program must look and feel very child orientated and be very easy to use for parents. The program should come with an installer. As you can see, this program does have lots of scope for ideas and changes - I need a coder that has vision and understands exactly what I want this program to do. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000 (if possible), XP, Vista
