Database Graphics Loader

Part1 A VB6 or VC++ Program will be written that will load a JPEG from the local hard disk. The program will ask for the picture id. i.e. 12345 and then store the loaded picture in two fields in a sql table. The picture will be resized by the program. The Sizes required will be hard Coded in the application. The table will have the following fields. 1. Picture ID 2. Small Pic 3. Small Pic Size 4. Large Pic 5. Large Pic Size. Field Names can be changed. Size will be 100x100 pixels etc. Part 2 A DLL will be produced to download the picture to the client machine. A sample app will be written in VB6, HTML, ASP. to get the picture from a server running IIS. The example program will ask for the picture ID and it will download the picture from the SQL table. Whilst the picture is downloading it will show a default graphic saying please wait.... If the download fails it will show a graphic. Download Failed! The developer will produce the SQL database. MS SQL2000. All code must be documented to allow easy integration into another applciation. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Win 2k 2003 XP VB6 VC++ IIS NO .NET Allowed.
