I want to convert a VB EXE program to a web application using PHP and MySQL.

The EXE version uses a local Access database, and a MYSQL table on my server

to control registration.

The new version will be a 100% web app using PHP and MySQL.

It will do VERY little HTML scraping. Instead it will use the Ebay API.

We'll be using the following(look at the above page)

"eBay Accelerator Toolkit for PHP" is the most established SDK. It supports the complete set of API calls and works under PHP 4.

**NOTE!!! eBay charges $3.00 per 1000 API calls, so the design MUST use the MINIMUM # of API calls!

This is going to be a WICKED COOL PROJECT to work on! :-)

The EXE program installs as a demo. It runs for 14 days and then dies. While it runs, it scrambles up the vowels of the feedback

We need to work out a demo mode for the PHP version that does the same.

So here is what you will do:

* I will give you access to my web server.

* I already am signed up for the eBay API program, and have the Authorization codes. I will supply those to you.

* You will install the "eBay Accelerator Toolkit for PHP"

* You will write a script that will allow us to pass an eBay USERID and have it bring back all of the feedback they received for SELLING ITEMS ONLY!

NOTE!! We only bring back feedback for ITEMS SOLD, NOT BOUGHT! This info will include all the info about the sold item.

* Next, you'll write the logic and create the MySQL tables to store the data

When you're done, the web app should be a working copy like the current EXE.

You will also need to handle the security aspects and back end logic.

You will deliver a complete ready to run application and agree to fix any discovered problems with it for 2 months after sign off.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
