Hello, I would like to get stock data. LOCATION: [login to view URL]:US ENTER STOCK: I would like data for a list of stocks (I will provide list). COLLECT DATA: 1) Short Interest (Remove decimals) 2) Float (multiply number x1,000,000) EXAMPLE: MSFT, 102635100, 8467873000 ... DELIVER: 1) CSV. file of data for a list of stocks provided 2) And data collection program NOTE: - If data is unavailable for a symbol, please include stock symbol in csv file with no data. - Sometimes the data source will block access, so the program must be designed to recognize a block, save data collected, and start again automatically until all data collected. DEADLINE: Tonight, as soon as you can do. Please let me know 3 things: - What language will you use? - Approximately how fast will program collect data for 4,000 stocks? - Will you be able to design to accommodate source blocking access? - How long to deliver .csv file? ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
