I need to change the way "contacting sellers" works on a website. Currently when a buyer wants to contact a seller they click on the contact link and an email is sent to the buyer with the seller's contact info and an email is sent to the seller stating that a buyer just requested their contact info. Also the buyer's contact info is stored in a sql database as a new "lead" for the seller, and vice-a-versa.
I want to change the method of contact so that when a buyer wants to contact a seller, they click on the contact button (just like before) but then the page redraws and offers them a spot to enter an email message to the seller, and then when they press send, the email will be sent to the seller and the leads will be recorded just as before.
I have attached two pictures. The first shows the current screen when dispalying a product. The second picture shows what I'd like the screen to look like when the buyer clicks on Contact this Seller.
The page is written in PHP. I am running this on a Windows 2003 server IIS and using PHP 5.2.6.
## Deliverables
Emails that? are sent from the buyer to the seller from my website should have the following charactistics:
From:? ? <noreply@[login to view URL]>
Subject:? A question about your $pet (variable from another php config file) for sale
To: (seller - already being pulled from the database for current model)
Body:? (Contains the text that the buyer has typed)
Closing: Please do not resond directly to this email but instead contact the buyer directly at (buyer's email address)
