For a CRM database, currently in Microsoft Access, I need a login control, so when a user enters the CRM, they are prompted to enter their unique username and corresponding password to open the database.
The entered username is then used in the queries to limit the data the user can view and change, to those registered in his or her name.
There must be an administrator form that only I can access, where I can create and delete users, change and reset passwords.
There must be two types of users, Administrators, and data entry. Administrators can see and change all data, data entry can only view and change their "own" data.
Once the user enteres the database, every new record they create must be linked to their username, as in their username must be automatically entered into the main table into the correct field.
For now it's "only" 12 users, but there will be more added through the year.
