I am experience with running Ubuntu servers (mediawiki, moodle, etc.). I would like to install the Koha open source library management software on a fresh Ubuntu server (version 9.10). The source code should come from the git repository.
The problem is that there seems to be a very long list of dependencies and pearl scripts that must be run, so what I want is simply a batch script that will do this all for me. I would like to run the script and have it bring me to the web configuration page when I type http://localhost
It may be that all that is needed is to make a script based on [login to view URL]
but based on the latest versions and dependencies. I do want it to all run as a batch script from a fresh ubuntu install with as little manual installation as possible and I do want it to run on port 80 as local host.
## Deliverables
Please make sure that you have tested the installation before sending me the instructions. I will install this on a freshly installed ubuntu server 9.10 and I just want it to run in a standard way. If there is anything that cannot be done in the Bash script, the instructions should be as easy to follow as possible. I could do this all myself, but I am wanting to avoid doing the research of all the dependencies and troubleshooting, etc.
Thanks,
