Barcode tracking in vb.net/vs.net

Simple access db with vb.net/vs.net front end 3 tables - 1st table (DATA)- id, name, year (from 2nd table), dob, group (from 3rd table), barcode 2nd table (YEAR) - id, year 3rd table (GROUP_ - id, group The main app needs a main menu with Pupil Data, Edit Years, Edit Groups, Advanced and Exit buttons. Pupil Data screen shows 1st table with search, save, refresh, cancel changes, and exit buttons. Edit Years screen shows 2nd table with same buttons. Edit Groups screen shows 3rd table with same buttons. Advanced menu needs following functions: 1. Increment year group (in 1st table) by 1. So if a pupil is in year 8 then become year 9. All pupils need to be incremented. 2. Remove year groups (in 1 st table). Prompt for which year to remove and then deletes all matching records. 3. Import new year (in 1st table). Prompts for a csv file and then imports said csv to 1st tables. CSV will have same headers as field names in table 1. 4. Backup to drive (network drive, C drive, usb drive etc). This backs up the db. 5. Restore old backup. Renames existing and prompts for path of db to restore. 6. Undo restore.
