Custom POS system

I am seeking to create a custom built POS system. Main idea is that daily counts at store and products sold could be entered into some sort of web interface (Username/Login Authentication) , and feed either a database on local / remote server from which the daily reports will be produced, and either sent by email, viewed/ printed. System must have a 'products' section where store manager can manage existing inventory as well as any inventory additions. Cashier must be able to enter item into system as he/she sells it - Item sold / Amount Sold (Weight) and system must know how to automatically update all the corresponding totals. More information will be provided when we move forward with project. Interested in seeing previous work to help determine if I can use your services or not .
