First and formost, this should be done in PHP: Second, we have gone through 2 companies that said they could do this and they have failed, wasting our time and money. We need to hire someone that we know will complete this job on time and with high quality. Thus, we will not hire anyone without good feedback and experience, and a promise that they can do these projects. The time period for this project is 10 days, which is more than enough. We need to see your scripts in action within 6-7 days, then the rest will be used for revising. Again, only bid if you can do all of the parts described below, can do it in the time frame alotted, and do it high quality (bonus $ described below). We will also need help setting up the scripts that you provide/make with our MySQL databases and PHP (we are inexperienced at doing thi). Walking us through will be done on some sort of instant messaging service. Now, the details: 1. An online cart We need to add a cart to our website. The cart must be displayed on all webpages ("Your cart has X items, totaling $XX.XX", etc.). The cart does not need a payment gateway. Prices must be adjustable, but not manually for the customer (i.e. if they order 1 item the price will be $6.99, quantity of 2 of the same item, price is $6.49 a piece, 3 quantity, $5.99 a piece, etc.). We have about 100 products so this needs to be added to our website easily. Complete checkout also required. Example carts will be provided from other sites once picked the winning bidder. However, you must be able to do this. Shipping prices needs to be calculated on weight and destination (all in U.S. only by the way). A file of all U.S. zip codes will be provided and needs to be integrated into the cart ("type your zip code here to estimate shipping costs"). 2. User login-system. We need our users to register, enter their billing/shipping information (can be integrated into the cart at feature with the checkout at the end). We also need an admin section to quickly and easily add tracking info and change the status of the order. This will be so the customer can log into their account, and see the status of their order. 3. Search feature With over 100 products, we need our customers to be able to search our entire website (built in (x)html). The search results should provide a picture of the item, the price, and maybe a short description. 4. Send this page to a friend We need this script for a customer to be on our website, and then type in their name, their e-mail, a friend's name, a friend's e-mail, and that page will be sent to their friend, and that inormation typed in will be sent to me. This is not a "open up my e-mail program so I can do it myself" type of script. More details will be given as needed. Please remember the time frame that this needs to be done by.
