automate news, events, press release

30+ members will be able to add their own news, events and press releases to a shared web site. I have designed an admin tool where the user fills out the form and the new news item, event or press release is automatically posted to the site. The older items are archived by date or by something new being posted. Image processing required. If images uploaded are too large, they must be resized. Thumbnails must also be created. Events and news items must be added to the RSS feed. Events and news items must be collected for an email to be sent once a week to all those who registered online. PDF in the attached ZIP contains detailed specs that should answer most questions. Tables for the MySQL db have already been created. Screen grabs of those are included as well. But the tables may not be preceisely what is called for but they are close. While the specs provided are detailed, suggestions welcome that improve usability. Please do not suggest changes that make it easier to code but reduce usability for the end user. Coders access to the dd through phpmyadmin but be restricted to only the database needed. FTP access, restricted to the appropriate directory, to upload files as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
