C++ Application - Fixes and New Development

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a commercial application that is currently selling in the marketplace. I am looking for a GURU in C++.NET with MINIMUM 5 years experience with that language I need a C++ programmer that has extensive experience, has written applications, and is available to help in the administration maintenance of a software product. CURRENT TASK: I have an application that runs as a "service" on my Windows 2000 OS Server. It takes files that arrive from another website, parses the data, and copies them to a database. The application is working ...but needs some modifications. The modifications would involve: A) checking that all files that are arriving are being processed (some say they are processed, but I need to confirm that they are). Processed means parsed and copied to Database B) check the frequency that they are being processed. Some files do not have to be processed immediately. C) explain to me the logic that is behind the programming of the files so I can confirm the logic is correct. This can turn into a long term relationship as this application supports a commercial software product. **I am willing to consider hourly rates.** Only INDIVIDUAL coders accepted. I have no idea as to whether you are just spamming the system so I will just ignore them. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
