ASP Catalog
Description:
This is an ASP application which has two parts:
1. database-driven catalog which displays items, two items per row, in a template which I have provided
2. administration pages where catalog items can be added, modified, and deleted
Requirements:
1. Server-side coding must use ASP and must function in an IIS 5.0 environment
2. Coder must regularly post work online for review/approval
3. Application must be easily implemented upon moving all files into server’s Inetpub directory
4. The database is in MS-Access
Files & Folders:
1. ‘Admin’ folder contains ‘[login to view URL]’ and ‘[login to view URL]’. Both pages are templates for which fields the functional pages will be using when interacting with the database.
2. ‘Catalog’ folder contains a template page ‘[login to view URL]’ that demonstrates the format for how text and images should be displayed. There should be two items per row, and all of the red text on this page represents data that comes from the database.
3. ‘db’ folder contains the database ‘[login to view URL]’. The primary table in this database is ‘tbl_inventory’. The other two tables are just lookup value tables.
