Looking for a developer to start build an app for OSX. The app should be accessible from the menu bar. It will create a folder, similar to what Dropbox and Google drive does, and monitor the folder for old files and manage them (i.e. delete etc) automatically based on your settings. I want full access to the code base for further development.

I have looked through your description and I have a few questions. 1. The application will create the folder or will it monitor an existing folder? Are you looking at just one folder or multiple folders? 2. You mention "Delete Etc." What sort of "Etceteras" are you contemplating? Would I have to implement those "Etceteras" or are you looking more for a framework that you could implement? 3. Is this a bulk operation done every day or is it something more dynamic? Are you looking to delete old files every night at midnight? Or are you looking for something which will delete files continuously throughout the day (e.g., as soon as a file is more than 2 hours old, get rid of it) 4. Is this entirely time-based? Or would you have rules like "Delete any file whose name contains the word 'Poodle'"? This is important to the design. The project looks pretty straightforward--monitor a folder and do something to files which are added. I have done similar work in the past, monitoring a print job folder and copying files from there.
