HI, I have made one app relate to encrypt the file and decrypt only for authorized person. I have plan for your requirement to encrypt whatsapp media files automatic, for that we can make background services which detect new files and encrypt that. To decrypt a file we need some seconds so that will be little delay for hiding from whatsapp. But that will be in seconds, so if that will acceptable for you then its best way to protect image files.
