Android - Create a second thread to handle database requests to DynamoDb using AWS

I have developed an app which allows users to register using their Facebook account. When the user completes their registration I need to store this information to DynamoDb. Most of the code is written to sett he data and the table is already created on AWS so I just need a second thread to be created to pass the data to the dynamo database as I cannot do this using the main activity thread.

Hi. If you already have all the necessary functionality done, moving to a separate thread should take about a day or two most. I am not very familiar with dynamoDB and AWS but if it's just a matter of moving some code to a separate thread - I have a lot of experience with threads in android. I am still new to freelancing but I have 8 years of total experience with the last 5 of them - as an android developer. I was also the team lead for an app with 50-100mln installs. I would gladly help you.
