We currently have a web application which our clients use to make recharges to their accounts via credit cards, make international top ups, send SMS thru our platform and see their current balance. We designed a mobile version of the main site with HTML5 so when users log in from their phones go to this mobile-oriented website and do these operations. For Android we were able to embed this website into an app which users can download from the Play Store. Our next phase is iPhone, we want to create something similar to this. It is our understanding that Apple does not permit an embedded website into an app, so we would like to create an app that can interact with our website to do the same things. Moreover, for customers to make payments on their account, can they keep using their credit card on file with our own credit card processor or they need to go thru apple's credit card processing? How would this apple app communicate with our current web platform?
