Bash shell script to copy and rename a file

Create a bash script (on mac os x) to copy a file to 3 renamed files in the same directory :

$ copydev <[url removed, login to view]>

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

[url removed, login to view]

If [url removed, login to view] already exists add a letter A, B, C, ... inclemently after the time stamp.

Ex. [url removed, login to view] exists

copy to [url removed, login to view]

if [url removed, login to view] exists

copy to [url removed, login to view]

etc.

If .dev and .live files already exists, throw an error and do nothing.
