Convert custom colorpicker from Flash to Javascript - repost

Internally developed custom color picker in Flash, you can find the swf and source here on github: [login to view URL] This project is to re-write this control in HTML5/Javascript. * Use of jquery is acceptable (but not required.) The control as a jquery plugin is acceptable. * Do not include libraries other than jquery. * I would expect the display to be done in canvas or webgl. Discuss other approaches first. * Testing should be done with Chrome.
