Need to convert an Image processing code in Java to Python.
Nutshell flow in Java:
For each image:
Read an MBF image
Detect faces
Get Image bounds based on a keyword
Do computation with RGB colors and set 64 parameters. ( Feature Vector)
The program will be reading in json documents ( can be easily rendered as json, csv or xml )
We have about 1 Million records containing images as URL links ( one Image per record needs to be processed). The "feature vector" will be a new field ( or a set of fields) that will be added to the original json document. The implementation should be time and space efficient. JAVA implementation will be shared, of course.

My name is Thach. I am glad if I have a chance to work with this project. It is quite familiar for me.
I am a programmer who is working with Python and Java daily. For Java I am familiar with using ImageJ for medical and Bio informatic image processing for years.
For Python, I am using both scikit-image and OpenCV library to process CryoEM data, which is a experimental data for Biostructure determination.
